I graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. I was an associate in a small animal practice for 4 years, then I ran my own SA practice for 4 years. I taught for 2 years in the Houston Community College Veterinary Assistant Program. and I was the Veterinarian for 2 wildlife rescue associations. I then got involved in non-profit/rescue and from that to high volume, high quality spay/neuter. I have been doing HVHQSN since 1996. While I do love doing surgery and consider S/N extremely important, I am looking for a position in which I can grow, learn and improve and not just be considered part of assembly line. I want to stay in the rescue/non-profit area as I don't like doing medicine to earn the highest dollars at the expense of the animal.
