For BrokersCooperationUnlike many business brokers, we are happy to cooperate with other licensed brokers who are representing a buyer or seller, except when cooperation is not in the client’s best interest. We realize that cooperation with other licensed professionals promotes the best interests of those who utilize their services. Our agreement to cooperate does not automatically include any obligation to share commissions, fees, or to otherwise compensate another broker.Back to TopCo-Brokerage & ReferralsThe Vet Broker selectively co-brokers with other licensed brokers. We use written co-brokerage agreements to outline the duties, obligations, responsibilities, and compensation of each broker. We generally will pay referral fees of new contacts for commission-based brokerage opportunities. This applies to other licensed brokers to whom we are legally permitted to pay a referral fee. As State statutes and regulations generally prohibit the payment of referral fees to non-licensees, it is our policy not to pay referral fees to unlicensed individuals. If you are not licensed--don't ask. If you don't know what it means to be licensed--don't ask. Referral fees are not paid for valuations or hourly consulting work. For inquires about referral or co-brokerage arrangements, contact our President, David Greene.
