The Vet Broker (TVB) was founded by David Greene, specializing in the brokerage of professional practices. TVB has been helping veterinarians buy & sell medical practices since 1997. Our experience, and knowledge of professional practice transactions, specialized financing knowledge, and protection of your confidentiality all combine to provide a superior approach tailored to meet your needs.  Today we service a multi-state area: both directly and in cooperation with the Veterinary Practice Sales Group (VPSG).

 

We understand that selling a practice is a complex process demanding an experienced practice broker.  Our knowledge of the current market, and our experience in the valuation of veterinary practices sets us apart from other companies.   Our private database of buyers combined with long established and effective marketing and advertising allow us to help and buyers and sellers meet their goals. 
 

Do I Need a Broker?

Few sellers or buyers have the knowledge and expertise required to negotiate a practice sale.  Like any complex activity, it takes specialized training and knowledge in a diverse number of areas: valuation, marketing, real estate, negotiation, advertising, etc.  We provide the necessary professional detachment to effectively price and negotiate the sale.  Additionally, 'for sale by owner' situations create a 'garage sale' environment where both sides usually end up getting less than they wanted.  Teaming with a practice broker is one of the best ways to avoid potentially expensive missteps.  

 

 

I Want to Join Your Team

If you would like to join our team of professional brokers and work directly for us (i.e., as an independent contractor broker) contact our President, David Greene, for consideration.  The preferred candidate will have two or more of the following attributes:

  • Real estate license with previous commercial brokerage experience
  • Business broker experience (IBBA CBI preferred)
  • Business valuation background
  • Professional practice sales background
  • Previous veterinary or healthcare practice consulting background

We are quite selective in our criteria and turn away many more applicants than we accept
